I was in Tibet in the 1980s when it was possible to buy things from the people on the market in Lhasa and other cities. I got the things that are all OLD and authenticate pieces. This is a beautiful silver belt buckle with brass colored detail.. You can see the new red leather strap. I bought this from a man on the street and it had an old fabric belt with it. I took that off years ago, but left that bit of leather. I had the man's striped fabric belt packed away and I just found it and added the picture. Each piece of the buckle measures 2 3/4" by 3 1/2". This is a choice and valuable piece.
