I really cannot say who did this beautiful and powerful woodcut print...it clearly was done by one of the major woodcut artists of the 19th Century.... names like... Kunisada Toyokuni Kunichika Hiroshige Chikanobu Kunioshi Saito Watanabe... to mention of few of the great masters...are some of the artists that we will be offering over the next few months. This collection was assembled during the 1960s in Japan by a couple who were working for the American military during the occupation. We are offering about 1000 prints in total...some in excellent condition and some in poor condition. PLEASE USE THE PICTURES TO JUDGE CONDITION... For those of you who will be purchasing multiple prints we would be pleased to hold on to them as long as you wish...just please pay for your item directly after each winning auction. Size of print is about 10 by 14.5... Condition is as pictured and print is tipped in to backing sheet.
