You are bidding on a classic 2002 Naish 5'2" Mutant Hybrid directional kiteboard complete with straps, pads, carbon fins and hardware, and custom grab handle as pictured*. * I had previously listed this board as a 4'7" by mistake so I had to cancel the listing and re-list it as the 5'2", and that is definitely the site that you are getting! These types of boards have experienced a recent resurgence in popularity as they are ideal light-wind, wave, or learning boards. You want the larger of the Mutant boards for any of these purposes, and this is one of the larger sizes that year. It's very lightweight for it's size, making it an ideal board for those light wind days or for learning. And given that they don't really make boards like this anymore, the 2002 5'2" is a hot item these days. I refer to it as a hybrid because while it is a directional board with a nose and a tail, it has fins on both ends allowing the rider to ride the board going in either direction, a major plus when you are learning. It also goes upwind extremely well; another big plus for learners. But even if you're an avid kiter, you'll love this board for light wind and waves...it even jumps well!
