Naja Pendant Pictured is a lovely, well-made naja pendant. The "naja" usually hangs at the bottom of a squash blossom necklace, and means "curves" in Navajo. This particular naja is unmarked as many of the earlier Native American pieces were because the artisan didn't want to appear to be a braggart. It boasts an oval turquoise stone in the upper center. The naja measures 1-3/4 inches long by l-1/2 inches wide, and has a generous hook on the back that would accommodate most any chain. It has been part of my jewelry collection for many years and I wore it on a simple silver chain. It looks stunning on denim, or black. Don't think too long on this one; it won't be around long as they are few and far between.
