NANCY ANN STORYBOOK 1953 MUFFIE #507 "MUFFIE GLAMOROUS" WITH BOX & WRIST TAG Description This is an auction for the Nancy Ann Storybook 1953 Muffie doll, #507 "Muffie Glamorous". 1953 was the first year that Nancy Ann offered her Muffie. She is strung plastic with movable arms, legs and head. Her eyes are stuck in an open position. She has the original Muffie hands with open fingers and beautiful coloring on her face. She is in the correct box with the label "Playtime Dolls by Nancy Ann, #507 Muffie Glamorous. It is partially torn. The wrist tag is marked 500 Muffie.Her dress is red dotted swiss organdy with a wide collar edged in embroidered braid. Her slip is attached and it closes in the back with a gold snap. She wears center snap red leatherette shoes with fuzzy bottoms and white socks. She carries a red Muffie purse. Her has gorgeous red hair, tied to the side with a gold barrette and a red ribbon. Her panties are laced edged red taffeta with a single seam.She is really a very nice doll. I see no cracks or crazing in the plastic. Her hair is slightly mussed in the back. She could use a trip to the hair dresser.We are offering other Nancy Anns and Muffies in separate auctions. We are happy to combine shipping.
