The legendary Richard B. Jackson Narrow Gauge Slide Collection, Set RBJ-5 originally offered by Al Chione in 1982. 100 35mm duplicate color Ektachrome slides. This set covers: Placing 168 on display at Colorado Springs in 1938 (3 slides), Rotary OY in 1957 to 1962 (5 slides), Engines and Equipment at Montrose in 1938-1950 (20 slides), the Montrose-Ouray Line in 1939-1952 (10 slides), Sargents I n 1955, Engines at Durango 1944-1967, and 487-497 on a Durango-Chama Freight in 1967. Engines included are: 168, 315, 316, 318, 319, 340 (green boiler), 345, 360, 452 (green boiler), 454, 456, 461, 463, 464, 476, 478, 483, 484, 487, 489, 491, 493, 494, 497, 498, 499, 605 (std ga.2-8-0), and Goose 7, plus various cars. These were all original photos of the D&RGW and associated lines. Color slides from this time frame are very rare, and this is a chance to have one of the largest collections in existence today. A copy of the original Al Chione list detailing each slide's title, location and date will be included.These slides were purchased in 1982, have been through a Kodak projector once, and have been in climate-controlled, dark storage ever since.
