An 11 x 14" NASA/Space Flight Awareness award to a contractor employee featuring a beautiful, 4x6" SPACE FLOWN official flag of the Shuttle/Mir program. The award says "In Commemoration of the Phase 1 Shuttle-Mir Program" and that this flag was "flown to the Mir Space Station aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery on mission STS-91, Launched June 2, landed June 12, 1998. Printed signatures of are NASA administrator Daniel Golden and Mir program manager Frank L. Culbertson, Jr. STS-91 was the last of nine Shuttle missions to dock with the Russian Mir Space Station, and a crew photo and mission decal are included, along with an official NASA Facts on the mission. Also a decal of the Mir/Shuttle program, the same as the flag, is included with a Mir 18/Shuttle decal--both with Russian language printed on the back.
