NASA Rocketdyne Space Shuttle Main Engine SSME Flight Configuration SchematicFrom a 62-year NASA Propulsion engineer who worked the Apollo, Skylab and Shuttle programs. Early SSME Schematic numbered: LSS-ES-P-196E (5th edition). Includes Pneumatic Control Assembly and all of the drains and purge lines. The "Flight Configuration" shown is how the Space Shuttle flew with the three (3) Space Shuttle Main Engines (SSME) during the first set of STS launches. Schematic also shows all of the engine components, drawing numbers (RS00xxxx) and instrumentation locations (Pressure: Pxxx; Flow meter or orifice: Fxx, etc).
