This jar was made for National Biscuit Company to hold their Uneeda Biscuits. It is their counter stacking jar made to save room on the counters of the general stores. These jars stacked using an interlocking prong molded into the glass. These jars date from 1923 to 1941. The markings on the jar are as follows: the back section states" National Biscuit Company "and underneath "Uneeda Bakers" and the bottom states" Made in USA". Both sides of the jar have the company trade mark symbol of NBC. The jar is app. 10 1/2" wide, 9" tall with app 5" opening in the front. This is truly an old piece with straw marks in the glass. T are no chips or cracks...great condition.This is a great vintage piece for anyone's collection or display. Low reserve. Insurance required.
