Collected while visiting Juan Quezada & the village of Mata Ortiz in Northern Mexico, Near the ancient ruins of Paquime in northern Chihuahua, Mexico just south of the San Luis Mountains, a new artistic movement is flourishing. Mata Ortiz, a small village barely three streets wide, is home to Juan Quezada, the self-taught originator of Mata Ortiz pottery, and his predominantly young followers Esperanza Tena who was taught by the master potterer himself, Juan Quezada himself and has produced some of the finest pottery out t is your chance to own one. This is one of the nicest pieces that I have seen. It is Black on Black Gunmetal with a cutaway top that is geometric. It measures a Large 17 inches tall and 17 inches wide and the top opening is 5 inches wide... I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT IT'S BEAUTY , JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURES....IT IS EVEN BETTER THEN WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE IN THE PICTURES AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED IN THIS ONE..
