NAVAJO ~ LARGE NATIVE AMERICAN ROYSTON TURQUOISE and STERLING BRACELET SIGNED J.BRoyston Turquoise was discovered over 100 years ago in 1902, and is the oldest existing patented Nevada mine. Royston Turquoise has a heavy matrix that runs from a light to a medium golden brown. This Royston Turquoise stone displays the signature "Royston fade" from light-to-medium blues to light-to-dark greens.This bracelet's beautiful stately Royston Stone face measures approximately 2 7/8" h x 2 w at its widest points. It is encircled with Silver Braid, 4 large Sterling Drops and Sterling Silver Handwork on its sides. The inside measure is approximately 5 1/2" inside with a 1 1/2" opening at the back. It weighs 5.3 oz or 150 g. A striking collectible, this large Royston Turquoise and Sterling Bracelet has the Hallmark : J. B and STERLING stamped on its inside. This outstanding, highly collectible piece has been part of a Private Colorado Native American Jewelry Collection on display for many years, not worn.
