BEAUTIFUL NC CATAWBA VALLEY FOLK POTTERY WALTER P. FLEMING DOUBLE FACE JUG DRIPPY ASH BASED ALKALINE GLAZE ON ONE FACE AND BLUE TINTED CRUSHED GLASS GLAZE ON OTHER PERFECT IN EVERY WAY - NO FLAWS!!!!! 13" TALL STAMP SIGNED ON BOTTOM COBALT EYES & CHINA PLATE TEETH HAND DUG EARTHEN CLAY Mr. Fleming was born in 1937 and is a semi-retired minister who befriended and mentored under the late Burlon B. Craig. He uses alot of original glaze recipes that he learned from Mr. Craig and also experiments with his own. Mr. Fleming has truly outdone himself as he is a great artist and a true southern gentleman. Just a nice piece of NC Catawba Valley Southern Folk Art Pottery! Thanks for viewing!
