Pictured is a Waterman's ink-vue filling pen manufactured in the 1930's. I cannot tell if it is a emerald ray color or silver ray. Both have a touch of green and it is difficult for me to tell them apart unless you have them sitting side by side. The appearance of a color difference is only due to its absence of ink. This is the transparent reservoir. When t is ink in the pen this section adopts the same shade as the rest of the pen. This is another of those "w has this pen been hidden?" situations w you know the pen has not been in constant use for the last 70 years because it would have the marks of wear. This pen is one of Waterman's classics so it would not surprise me if it has been in the hands of collectors for its full life. The surface shows no gouges, scratches, nicks, not even a hint of normal use. The imprint (see picture) is amazingly crist. It honestly looks just like new. The nickel trim shows no signs of brassing or corrosion. The 14kt solid gold nib (see picture) is perfectly shaped, has the keyhole shaped breather characteristic of this model, and is marked Waterman's RED which indicates that it is a medium nib and has a medium flex. The metal Waterman's globe, which is affixed to the top of the cap is present on this one (see picture). A new bladder has been installed so this pen is ready to roll. If you do not read more
