Two taffeta Cissy dresses. Neither one is in good condition, however, there are some redeeming qualities. First the aqua dress. It is tagged. If you have watched Cissy auctions over the years I am sure you have noticed how auctions for Cissy tags have ended. They end very high. If you need a tag here it is. Someone tried to press this dress with too hot an iron and what you see in the photo is the result. There is a fix for this and that would be to remove the 2 or so inches of fabric from the skirt and seam it. In which case you would have a dress that is more than just good condition. The navy dress has not survived well and is not tagged but is authentic Madame Alexander. This dress would be good a good template for a pattern or for extra fabric for repairs. Both dresses are included in this auction with a pair of vintage hose for one price.
