I bought this book at an estate sale in Maryland. The gentleman who passed away was a NASA administrator. The book was with several other NASA books, and is in excellent condition except for some discoloration on the front. The inside pages are in very good condition with no creases, discoloration, or tears. The book is signed by Neil Armstrong and Milton O. Thompson. I'm not going to list all of Neil Armstrong's accomplishments because they are many (the most obvious is being the first man to step on the moon). Milton Orville Thompson (born May 4, 1926 - died August 6, 1993) was an astronaut and test pilot for the U.S. Air Force who flew the X-15 rocket plane. He was a NASA engineer and research director at the Dryden Flight Research Center. His signature is under Neil's, but is not authenticated. The picture is an original photo and I found it in the book. The gentleman in the middle is probably not an astronaut. Milt Thompson is on the far left next to Neil Armstrong. (I have tried to figure out who the two people on the right are, but have not been able to. Perhaps someone can tell me.) The picture is in very good condition with no tears or other problems. It is included in the sale.
