This is a super pair of hand forged accordian style ember tongs from the 18th century. In good condition with no damage and nice original patina to the iron. This pair of tongs measures 20 1/4 inches long when fully extended. Nice hand forging to the iron. These are larger and more primitive than normally seen in this type of tong. It is possible that these tongs are American made. A great piece to add to a collection of early hand forged iron or an 18th century display. Buyer pays shipping and insurance.
