NICE WW1 GERMAN HINDENBURG CROSS for NON-COMBATANTS Original WW1 German Honor Cross for Non Combatants WW1 German Honor Cross for Non Combatants, also known as the Hindenburg Cross without Swords . Nice bronze medal is maker marked on the reverse bottom with GWL , Gebrüder Wegerhoff Lüdenscheid. No rust or rubs or wear of any sort. Has 6 inches of original silk ribbon with a single stain spot on the ribbon's fold, which you can see in the scan.Absolutely wonderful original medal to add to your WW1 collection. It is exactly as I purchased it on the flea market in the Saar area of Germany.
