Hi-COR hot face helps only when you hit the ball straight. If you hit the ball straight like an arrow every single tee shot, this auction may not be for you. If you are looking for the most forgiving Japanese hi-COR & hi-MOI driver that just wants to go straight and long, you have found the right driver. This SQ+ is also Nike's very final "plus" model. Japan Nike stopped making hi-COR drivers right after this one. Nike's "plus" line of drivers were designed and made in Japan, and never intended for the US market, thanks to USGA's "spring effect" limit. And they are Nike's only purpose-made non-conforming drivers. Without the USGA limitation to worry about, Nike engineers were able to put their best distance-producing technology into these "plus", giving birth to these astonishingly long hitting monsters. Being the final "plus" model, SQ+ didn't have as long of market time as other "plus" drivers before Japan's 1/1/08 deadline of .830 COR limit. That's why this SQ+ is extremely rare and sought after. Even in Japan, many golfers don't even know the existence of SQ+. What made this model phenomenon is Nike engineers combined the super hot .860+ COR with the Hi-MOI SasQuatch design (Hi-COR + Hi-MOI). Also, the shafts that are in these Japan spec drivers are by far superior quality to the "stock" option offered in our clubs here. Sub-300g total weight helps increase swing speed. What's Non-conforming products ? This driver is a NON CONFORMING Japan version that's no longer being produced. Even in Japan, non conforming drivers become increasingly harder to find each year. This driver model was never released in the USA. Please keep in mind this driver is not allowed in official USGA governed tournaments. USGA banned these drivers because they have the "spring effect" COR value over .830 and hit the balls too long.
