The North Face Himalayan Parka Down Jacket - XL - 900 Fill Down (Yes 900 Fill!) This is a beautiful jacket that has history behind it! It was worn by me during the Everest Peace expedition in 2006. It was only worn at base camp and was taken well care of...the jacket can actually been seen on the film "Everest: A Climb for Peace" - which is narrated by Orlando Bloom. To learn more you can go to the Web site: I am selling it for the simple reason to clean out my closet (it takes up a lot of room!). The jacket has one flaw: on the back it had a small tear (I got the jacket like this). To fix it I just put a small (about 2 inch) piece of goretex tape over it. This completely fixed the issue and I wore the jacket on Everest as is with absolutely no issues. The only issue is an aesthetic one. But since it is on the back and since both the tape and jacket are black, it is very hard to see unless you are really looking for it. Not a big deal. But you do not have to be going to Everest to wear this! Any place that is friggin' cold and this jacket is the solution to your problems!
