My father was a mechanic for Northeast Airlines at Logan Airport in Boston for many years before the Delta merger in the mid 1970's. He often brought 'stuff' home including posters, pins, patches, etc. This auction is for a Northeast Airlines DC-9 Yellowbird poster. The full poster measures approx 20 1/4" x 16 1/4". The image itself is approx 15 1/4" x 10 3/4". Markings on the bottom right corner indicates printing in May, 1968. I took several photos to show the condition of this poster. It doesn't look like it was ever folded or hung on a wall, but there are spots, stains and a few wrinkles and tiny rips.. mostly on the border. I do see a couple of small spots on the print.. One is in the sky above the front door of the plane. The other is in the sky above the 2nd door of the plane. Possibly some of these blemishes could be removed. I did not attempt this. This is a vintage item and I'm selling it 'as is' As I do not accept returns, please ask questions before you bid or let me know if you need more photos to help you decide. This item has been stored flat, but for shipping, I will roll it up and send it in a tube. Paypal only, confirmed addresses only. I do not end auctions early.
