Offered for auction is this BEAUTIFUL, 10" wide,Master ICS carnival glass bowl produced by Northwood. The pattern is "Peacock And Urn". Though faint, the Northwood underlined "N" in a circle does appear on the base. The base color is green, which is very RARE in this pattern. The iridescence is just beautiful and the colors are very bold. It is nicer than it appears in the photos. The piece is in excellent condition, being completely free of any damage aside from a couple of tiny scratches on the back. T are 3 production flaws that I would like to draw your attention to. On the peacock's wing, t is a small area about the size of a match head w the iridescence was missed during the making. It is NOT damage. T is no roughness, and I have inspected the area closely with a 10X jeweler's loupe, and t is no missing glass, and the pattern is completely intact. Secondly, T is some debris completely encased inside the glass that can be seen in the photos. It is at approximately 2:00. Finally, t is a thin strawmark that runs into the interior center, which can also be seen in the photos. All of the photos were taken outside in a shaded area on a sunny day against a light background, with the exception of one against a black background. The photos do not do this piece justice.
