This NORTHWOOD green carnival glass stippled "STRAWBERRY" eight ruffle shaped bowl is antique glass that is just the way this beautiful stippled "STRAWBERRY" bowl left the NORTHWOOD GLASS COMPANY many years ago, this NORTHWOOD stippled "STRAWBERRY" bowl has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom that is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches and no glass staining; I may add that this NORTHWOOD GREEN CARNIVAL GLASS STIPPLED BANDED "STRAWBERRY" BOWL is an early NORTHWOOD vintage antique carnival glass stippled "STRAWBEERY" bowl that has been used and displayed over many years and still remains in beautiful heirloom condition, surely the couple of people who have once owned this American beauty surely cherrished this piece of NORTHWOOD antique glass according to the condition this stippled banded "STRAWBERRY" bowl remains in today; This NORTHWOOD stippled banded "STRAWBERRY" bowl that I have here does have the early carnival glass era characteristics of the early carnival glass making process having stress marks, straw marks, and air bubbles sometimes seen inside the glass of early carnival glass, my numerous photos taken do show this stippled banded "STRAWBERRY" bowl has these characteristics from the glass making process and is NOT considered damage, all this is shown to you in my numerous photos taken but any questions at all please e-mail me; The back of this green stippled banded "STRAWBERRY" bowl has the "RIB and PANEL" secondary pattern with the popular sawtooth edge around the top of the eight ruffles of this stippled "STRAWBERRY" bowl; This NORTHWOOD green stippled banded "STRAWBERRY" bowl does NOT have that famous NORTHWOOD trade mark; It did not matter what angle or position I photographed this American beauty the COLOR and iridescence can be seen in my numerous photos taken and that is what carnival glass is all about........COLOR and iridescence; This ever popular and premeir NORTHWOOD "STRAWBERRY" pattern can be seen and talked about in one of my many reference materials, one is a hard back book by "Edwards and Carwile" a book on carnival glass, the "STANDARD ENCYCLOPEDIA of CARNIVAL GLASS 7th Edition" on page #336; I've taken numerous (all) photos outside in natural daylight in different backgrounds in numerous angles & positions to show pattern, COLOR, condition, carnival glass iridescence, & size hoping to answer any and all questions but if need be you can e-mail me or you can see me on my NEW web site at ; When using a cell phone or mobile device please click on "see full description" to see more photos and measurements; Insurance is bought at the USPS at the time of shipment to you, the cost is $12.25 for the shipping and $1.75 for the insurance.
