NEW NOS 1991 Dove of Peace Protestant KJV King James Version Edition Holy Bible in a Cedar Wood Box Good Will Publishing. Purchased from the estate of a local Union steward, these bibles were made to be given as a remembrance of a union member or their spouse at their passing but were never used. Each has a solid Cedar wood box with the words "Holy Bible" carved into the lid. Bible itself measures about 8.5" x 6" with a padded white cover with gold trim. Inside the box is a piece of paper mounted to the inside lid that has a poem and a section that reads "Our Deepest Sympathy, Brotherhood of Local Carmen Local No. 6277 Division of TCU". Also came with a sympathy card to be filled out before presenting the bible. Still in their cardboard shipping boxes (boxes read "Fragile To Open Lift Here" and the word "Protestant" stamped on the top {photo of box above shows the Catholic version}, "United Paperworkers International Union AFL-CIO, CLC Local #429" stamped on the bottom. All have no sign of ever being removed from their boxes.We try very hard to protect your purchase- books and other paper items get sent in plastic sleeves or bubble wrap surrounded by cardboard, other breakable items get packing peanuts, bubble wrap, or other protection to help avoid postal damage.
