Here is a rare NYPD 40th Precinct patch. All police precinct and/or units have a name for their precinct which is also known as their "House"..Depending on the commands you work in they were rated as most dangerous or busy. For example an A house can be consider a dangerous and/or busy command. The 40th was an A house. There are 3 patches the one not shown is a skull knife with the words 40th pct death valley. as far as the other two , One patch was the name given by the newspaper as "Devils Playground" the other was given "Hit Squad" because of the tough Member of that cmd that were ready for any disturbance.. there rated (A) House (B) House (C) house . 41th Pct was known as Fort Apache , 42nd Pct Known as "The warriors of the waste lands" 44th Pct Known as the " ALAMO".. 75th Pct "Ghetto Gun fighters" These patches will be available soon...Posted with eBay Mobile
