Here is an original badge that is a defunct / obsolete style and complies with listing rules. It has no police powers and is sold for historical use only. Here is a very nice star-shaped badge that reads: DEPUTY , U.S. , MARSHAL on the front The reverse has the LAS&SCO hallmark on one side of the pin and NICKEL SILVER on the other side of the pin. The hallmark stands for the LOS ANGELES STAMP & STATIONERY Co. It is 3" across overall and shows light wear and light scratches. It still has most of the original black enamel inside the lettering.
