Fabulous EDWARDIAN/ VICTORIAN Velvet OPERA CAPE, Sculpted shoulder beaded apliqu DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION/CONDITION: Great find, all original fraternal Guard coat for Odd Fellows. This coat is an amazing collectible, very old circa 1920s from what I have been told, stored for decades. Main fabric is velvet burgundy color and brown. There are many metal studs attached all over the coat. There are peweter color rings and studs as well as gold metal lion head studs there is brocade embroidery and metal fringe on hemline. The liner is of a beige striped design thin cotton(may be silk). The label inside reads The ward stilson company who were mainly fraternal outfitters.Iam by no means an expert,so please study pics and inquuire with questions.I thought this coat is amazing in its design itself. I aquired this coat at a estate sale in Kentucky. Of course there is age related wear, coat is still very much wearable but there are stains on liner as well as a few missing studs here and there. I think this is as good as it gets, but again inquire with questions. There are push button closures which it looks to me they have been repalced at one point. SIZING/MEASUREMENTS: All sizes are estimates. This cape appears to be a petite to small size. Please go by measurements given. LENGTH: 36 inch SHOULDER: 20 INCH BUST: 22 INCH(DOUBLE) WAIST: FREE
