The sterling silver plate and engraving are in mint condition - no dents, marks or scratches. It is certified (Certificate No. 05200) as "the First Official Presidential Inaugural Plate in Unted States history". The limited edition of this plate was made and serially numbered at the Franklin Mint. The box containing the plate is in good condition with some decoloration in the front and back covers due to ageing and bookshelf handling. Interior of the box with velvet cushion is in good condition.
