This is one of the finest examples of a Cattaraugus "King of the Woods" S-lock folding hunter (# 12829) you will find! This large lock-back folding knife is approximately 5 3/8" closed and 9 1/2" locked open. Blade has been professionally polished and locks tight in the open position, with absolutely no "front to back" or "side to side" movement. It also has a strong snap when opened or closed. The front side of the tang is stamped "Cattaraugus; Cultery Co.; Little Valley; N.Y." and the back side of the tang is stamped "12829". The jigged bone handles are absolutely stunning, with no chips and only two very small cracks that are hard to see without a magnifying glass. Overall, this rare knife is in excellent condition and would make a great addition to any collection. Please email if you have any questions and I can send additional pictures if interested.
