This auction consists of 4 superb Copeland Spode bread plates featuring four different horse and dog hunting scenes. Bottom of plates have an old Copeland Spode mark of a Jockey's cap hat and horse whip with "Copeland Spode England" within hat/cap, numbered, title of scene, rust color signature of artist? and impressed "Copeland Spode" and another impressed line which I cannot read. Titles and numbers are: 1 "The Find"; 3 "Gone Away"; 4 "First Over" and 6 "Full Cry". All plates are in very good condition---no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. No fading or wear of scenes. Pattern colors are crisp and vibrant with fabulous detail. A few tiny faint utensil marks which do not interfere with scenes. Needless to say, they display beautifully! Plates measure 6 1/4" diameter. Great for use or display! Buyer to pay exact shipping cost. I do NOT charge handling fees. Thanks for looking!
