Up for bid is a vintage ceramic tobacco jar with metal lid. The lid is non-magnetic with a brass appearance. The jar measures 6 1/4" high x 6 1/4" diameter. It is signed Hand Painted Delft Blue Holland H S. The front of the jar features two Native American Indians holding tobacco leaves in one hand and a pipe in the other, they are standing on tobacco leaves and t is a stylized flower between them at the top and bottom and the word AMOPHORA in between. T are also two ships, one beside each Indian. The back of the jar features another stylized flower. Very good condition, no chips, cracks, or fleabites, our flash has caused some of the blue to look washed out, the lid has some discoloration, maybe just needs a good cleaning, t are no dents. We try our best to accurately describe the items being sold.
