is an old Native American Indian picture frame. These were made by the Mohawk Indians in the late 1800's. It is heavily detailed with glass beads on a cloth backing. T are raised beaded floral designs around the frame and beaded loops handing from the bottom. T are beads sewn around the edge and a beaded string for hanging up. T is a cloth pocket on the back to insert the picture. It holds a 6 1/2" x 4 1/4" photo. The baby photo in the frame is an original cabinet photo fromt he late 1800's to the early 1900's. It measures 6 1/2" x 4 1/4". The picture frame measures 11 1/2" x 7" and displays well with no bead loss.
