You are bidding on an Authentic, Old Taxco, Mexico (or perhaps Mexico City) Sterling Silver Modernist Footed Dish. Hallmarked PLATA, ACV, 925, STERLING, Hecho En Mexico, DF, with Eagle Assay Stamp #1, I believe this elegant piece was created circa 1960. This piece was collected in Southern Arizona, an area renowned for Old Mexican Silver, Latin American Folk Art and Antiques and Collectibles of the Americas. In very good condition, this footed dish was created with attention to detail throughout. T are no significant scratches, dents or other signs of excessive wear on this piece (please review all copy and photos carefully for an accurate, detailed depiction ~ sorry about any reflection ~ silver is hard to photograph). Overall, the dish measures approx. 7 3/8" Long x 6 1/8" Wide x 3 5/8" High. It weighs approx. a very hefty 343 grams (11.03 Troy ounces). This fine example of twentieth century Mexican Modernist design will enhance any Sterling Silver collection and make a superb addition to any Taxco or Mexican Silver Collection.
