The original Icon of this type comes from an ancient wall painting from the St Nicholas Anapavsas Monastery in Meteora Greece (by Theophanes Strelitzas of Crete in 1527 ). These stunning lithographs are extremely detailed and beatifully colored to approximate the original painted Icon. This unusual prayer Icon is made of heavy, dark stained wood and measures 8" x 5 1/2" x 1" thick! A wonderful spiritual gift for display in the home (or at church!)
