Old, Vintage Action Comics lot of 5 (248-254) Superman Description : Welcome to a BMC Collectibles auction Action Comics - lot of 5Up for bid is a very low-grade lot of some key issues of Action Comics. Included in this lot are: 248 - Backup stories featuring Tommy Tomorrow and Congorilla.251 - 1st cameo appearance by Supergirl. T is a full page ad advertising her debut in Action comics 252.253 - 2nd full Supergirl appearance.254 - 1st appearance of Bizarro as an adult. (A Bizarro Superboy made an appearance in Superboy 68 a few months earlier).255 - 1st Bizarro Lois Lane, Supergirl/Tommy Tomorrow crossover.I generally take comics out of the bags to be scanned but I am simply scared to do so with these. They all look pretty fragile and I don't want to risk any further damage to them. The cover may be attached to #255. I'm pretty certain that the others have detached, and possibly completely split covers. I hesitate to even call them reading copies as you probably wouldn't even want to attempt that with them. The are hole fillers and nothing more. I am not a professional grader. Grades are my best assessment based on 25+ years of collecting; your opinion may differ.
