Features: This is a very nice older vintage (1941 to 1953 c) super heavy multi-hinge linked bracelet for woman or medium small wrist for man. Made of sterling silver. Beautifully Taxco Mexican hand custom made. It's highly collectible as well as likely rare. Based on marks (found below), it's likely made by earlier Taxco Pioneer Antonio Pineda who worked under William Spratling during late 1930's. If it's by this maker, it would be of his earlier work as oppose to his post 1953 work. Has very impressive smith workmanship in an eye catching Aztec pattern link design . Each pannel link depicts a story telling pattern with nice oxidized background . Very well made. Has strong slide clasp which locks in and secures just fine. Also has safety chain. Like much of his earlier work, this bracelet is very super heavy. Weighs: 76.8 grams (nearly 77 grams, of course). It was very well kept and in excellent condition. Auction starting price is very reasonbly low, especially from this earlier well sought out earlier Taxco pioneer. Fitting and Measurements: Although, looks fine with a loose look appeal, it best fits between a size 6 1/2 inch wrist up to a size 7 1/8 inch wrist. Inner circumference measures 7 1/4 inches yet it's inner diameter will widen up to a little over 2 2/3 inches across, providing the little extra needed room. Link width read more
