This auction is for an older Yixing teapot. The Yixing pot is chopped with a Famous Maker. This is not a new pot...this is older and the finest quality. This is from a collection of old Yixing teapots accquired from the archives of the Beijing Government. The teapot is made from the unique Yixing clay. Yixing clay is known for absorbing the delicate flavor of tea, seasoning the pot, and greatly improving the taste of each pot of tea! Mark of Famous Maker on bottom of the pot. This is a highly collectible Yixing teapot and is starting at a ridulous price! This pot is in mint condition and has never been used. The teapot measures 7-3/8" spout to handle, 3-3/4" high and 4-3/4" in diameter. Buyer pays $8.85 shipping and insurance in 48 states. International buyers pay per country via Postal system.
