Nice hard resin model of the OLYMPIC STADIUM , Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Current production. Excellent condition. Nice detail. Overall base measures about 6 x 3.5 inches. Overall height measures about 2.25 inches. Some facts: Originally built for the 1976 Olympics. The World's Tallest Inclined Building at 40 storeys high. Was home to the Montreal Expos Baseball Club 1977-2004. Was home to the Montreal Manic Soccer Club 1981-83. Was home to the Montreal Alouettes Football Club 1976-83, 1996-97. Was home to the Montreal Concordes Football Club 1983-87. The Alouettes lost to the Calgary Stampeders in the 96th Grey Cup in 2008 in this stadium. Cost $1.5 billion dollars, Quebec taxpayers (ie. my parents ) just recently finished paying it off. Worth a visit! Buyer pays $9 postage within North America . OVERSEAS: $15. The free listing tool.
