Gene's dress is made of vintage fern green rayon acetate fabric, with collar and cuffs of a geometric print silk. It is fully lined in white poly habotoi.Dress has faux front closure, with beads to simulate buttons and closes in back with snaps. Sleeves are gusseted for a sleek fit with top and the interior shoulder pads create that late 40's look. Collar and cuffed sleeves are made of a coordinating green and black silk. Attached belt features gold color buckle.Hat and purse are made of black speckled bronze colored rayon fabric. Hat is edged with black silk and trimmed with ribbon rosette and netting and includes hatpin. Purse is non-working and trimmed with black ribbon and elastic wristlet to aid in holding.Outfit consists of dress, hat and purse. Doll, jewelry and shoes are not included in auction.
