You are bidding on Accurate Armour's excellent, rare (OOP) kit of the British Comet heavy cruiser tank. This multimedia kit includes resin, photo-etch and metal parts to make either a WW2 or post-war version of this famous tank. Entering service with the Royal Armoured Corps and the Cavalry in the last few months of the war it at last gave British tank crews a tank that could take on the German 'big cats'. Armed with a 77mm gun (17pdr) and well armoured with superb cross-country performance it was the perfect steed for the pursuit of the German Army across North West Europe . I'm not sure if this kit came with decals - there are certainly none in the box. Regardless, the kit is another example of AA's superb design and resin-moulding work and will build into a fantastic kit. The downside - both resin mudguards have snapped off at the rear but can be easily reattached. This kit is OOP and normally retails for silly money (over $100 in the US!) It is very difficult to find and starts at well below retail price, this kit is a bargain at £15.99.
