VC-7 was commissioned in 1950 and in 1955 was re-designated Heavy Attack Squadron 7 (VAH-7) and flew AJ Savages and later A-3 Skywarriors. Patch measures 4.0 inches and is in excellent plus unused condition with minimal wear but does have some paper and glue residue on the back (see photos for the best description). Nice Navy squadron patch for a collection or use on a G-1 flight jacket or CWU flight suit, etc. Seller does combine shipping on items with the 2nd and 3rd patches being free and a nominal charge for additional patches , but please wait for an E-bay invoice from the seller in order to get this savings as this combines the items in Paypal and saves me fees also.
