Welcome to my auction of this Original Lionel Post War Canadian Pacific (1957) ONLY 2296W 4 Car Passenger Set-NICE!-NR!(Note, I also have the F3 engines and the 2553 and 2554 Pullmans that Lionel sold as a "separate sale" up for auction as well on my Ebay store)TCA Member# 21-75545Description: Lionel introduced these cars with the 2296W Canadian Pacific Passenger car set in 1957 (ONLY)! These flat channel cars featured silhouettes on each side, gold lettering and a chestnut strip. They had silver painted end and also feature a light inside.2551 Banff Park observation 2552 Skyline 500 vista dome - three 2552 vista-dome's were included in the setCondition: Up for auction is a wonderful complete set of the 2296W Canadian Pacific passenger Cars! The set consists of three 2252 Skyline 500 Vista Dome cars and the 2551 Banff Park observation car. The patina is very nice on all cars, with a little cleaning from sitting you could get it to really pop with shine. The lettering and stripping is very nice and complete throughout all sides. The silhouettes are intact nicely as well and all cars were bench tested and all lights worked nicely. The wheels show light to moderate light wear. It has a little rust on some of the wheels that can clean up easily with a toothbrush and WD40. There is no boxes for these cars and the cars show light wear
