Vintage original patina WWI era Swiss Sawback Bayonet marked HS.Uncleaned with corrosion on the blade, guard, and handle.The blade is still fairly shiny and hasn't been ground down.Not much wear and could be cleaned up some but I prefer the original look so didn't buff it.Nice and solid and completely usable.Low serial number.The scabbard is nice with no dents but has wear in the paint and an extra hole in the leather strap.Almost a short sword the bayonet measures just under 24 inches long with an 18 7/8 inch blade.Please see all the pictures for best description as this is the bayonet and scabbard you will receive.
