As John Sterling would call it - ’s an ORIGINAL Vintage 1955 News Service Photograph issued by International News Photos depicting the jovial scene in the locker room as Yogi Berra and Casey Stengel celebrate after defeating the Boston Red Sox to capture the 1955 American League Pennant. Original press stamp and caption with date on the verso of this 7” x 9” photo of the two popular Yankees with owner Del Webb. Interesting in that the caption has this quote from Casey when asked about the Brooklyn Dodgers - “Don’t Worry, the Yankees always take care of the World Series” !
