Here is a fun project for your evening pleasure. This is an original American Flyer S gauge 21088 Franklin steam locomotive that has seen some heavy use and abuse! But here is the thing - I had it running this evening! And, it smokes well too. Still it is going to need to have the motor cleaned and lubricated and you should probably replace the brushes as it would run, then stop, then run, then stop. Please look at pictures for best representation of cosmetic condition, they are the ultimate part of this description. If you are unsure of anything, it is your responsibility to ask questions. Boiler is junk. Flaking paint, repaired roof corner, missing bell, broken screw post for pilot and lots more issues. Tender looks better but has some damage to top edge near back on right side. So, as I said, throw away the plastic, spend a little time cleaning up the mechanical and electrical and you will have a great start to a custom or restoration project. Sold as is, no returns.
