If you're a collector of political memorabilia or lived through the 1960s (or both), then you understand the promise and the poignancy of Robert Kennedy's 1968 run for the White House. This set of eight snapshots shows Bobby Kennedy speaking in a downtown urban center. They're taken from below right, with six of the pictures showing Bobby standing at a bank of microphones with a speech in hand, and the other two showing his wife, Ethel Kennedy, wearing a short-sleeve dress and white gloves. In the vertical picture of Ethel a woman is wearing a "Kennedy" sash in the background. Each image measures 3.25" x 2.5" with an image size of 2.875" x 2.125". The snapshots are in fair vintage condition; they appear to have been developed by an amateur, resulting in this appearance. Still, they are in focus, the emulsion is stable, and they're an affordable and original souvenir of Kennedy's 1968 presidential bid! We are starting this auction at $9.99 with NO RESERVE.
