It is issued from The Alton National Bank. It is charter #1428. The date on the note is 1865. This note is extremely rare, and it is near impossible to find this type of bill anymore! This bill is graded About Good 6 Apparent by PCGS. It is noted there is edge splits, tears, damage, pieces missing and tape repairs. This note is from the Eric Newman Collection and that is noted on the holder. Clearly all of the value is in the rarity of this note!
