Original WWI French MLE 1886/93/16 bayonet and scabbard inexcellent condition. Made for the French Lebel and Berthier rifles. Matching numbered scabbard which is also anchor marked, signifying naval or colonial use. Very rare marking on Lebel bayonets. Excellent, straight blue 16” blade. Excellent brass handle. Fine working lock button and spring, numbered on bottom of guard. Excellent black painted scabbard. Matching serial number, anchor marked under throat. No dents of bends. A scarce, hard to find WWI French Naval marked Lebel bayonet and scabbard in excellent condition with matching numbers.
