Original WWI French Model 1886/93 Lebel-Berthier bayonet and scabbard in good condition. Full length 20 "" blade is bright with some dark staining. Silver allow handle, with most original combat blackening intact. Guard is bright with fine pitting. Scabbard has very fine pinprick pitting. Guard and scabbard are both marked with colonial/naval anchor. Serial number on guard is unreadable. Good working lock button and bayonet mounts on Lebel and Berthier rifles. Nice example of a WWI Lebel-Berthier bayonet and scabbard, and colonial marked.
