OUTER LIMITS - CHROMOITE - RARE CLEAR RESIN ARTIST'S PROOF Everyone has their favorite monstrosity from "The Outer Limits," and this one is mine. He's the Chromoite, that crab-clawed, gelatinous, muck-eating monster seen in the classic episode, "The Mice." , the jiggly alien is handsomely recreated in resin figure form, a rare "Artist's Proof" casting, mint in its box. This fiendish fellow was produced a decade ago by Dimensional Designs, being one of their many licensed resin kits based on the monsters of The Outer Limits. The Chromoite creature is surely one of their wilder figure models from the series, with this kit being the first Artist's Proof casting from DD's original molds. Furthermore, this monstrosity was sculpted by Greg Nicotero of the Academy Award-winning, KNB EFX Group. It's an excellent 11" tall representation of the evil alien that's completely accurate, and crisply detailed. The Chromoite is cleanly cast in solid amber-clear resin with glittering flakes within, successfully emulating the alien's strange, jelly-like appearance, while also allowing for many an imaginative paint scheme. T's also a bag full of drippy tendrils, a 6" x 6 " display base, a separate Outer Limits episode nameplate, and a bag of tan fur to detail the critter with.
