This listing is for a Proto 2000 or P2K 30824B HO scale EMD E8B passenger diesel unit in Union Pacific livery with road number 934B. The prototype of this model was among 14 like units numbered 931B through 944B delivered in 1953. The photos were taken under incandescent light so the colors may look slightly different than on the actual model. This Standard analogue DC model has a Chinese drive which provides for smooth and quiet running, once broken in. This model is from the 2003 releases which are often characterized by having a little waviness in the Farr grilles, and by requiring some clean-up of the drive train owing to factory lube which turns gummy over time. This unit has been in storage for over ten years, and has only been on static display a few times. Therefore this model is in like-new condition and comes in a clean original box with all contents as supplied when new, TCA grade C-9 , box P-8.Shipping and handling charges for USPS Priority Mail are included in the item price for USA addresses.
